Facts about Demons

Demons enter through Open Doors, Ephesians 4:25-28 says, "Therefore, putting away lying, 'Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer"

Demons come down family lines, meaning they can be "inherited", and usually called "generational" or "familiar" spirits.

Demons are "invisible spiritual entities", with minds, emotions, wills, and personalities of their own.

The purpose of demons is to prevent or hinder salvation for the unsaved, and maturity and effectiveness in God’s kingdom for Christians.

Demons interject their thoughts into our thought stream, so that we accept them as our own.

When demons are cast out, the thoughts go from "First Person Singular", to a "Third Person" form, (i.e. they go from "I want to take drugs" to "we want you to take drugs".

Demons lie to us, help us lie to ourselves, and to others, to the extent that we really don't recognize the lies we are told, or are telling others.

Demons don't play fair, and they have no mercy.

They manifest by causing our behavior to be what their function is, (i.e. rejected, anger, bitterness, etc.).
