How we got involved in Deliverance
In an Episcopal Church Cursillo Renewal Retreat in 1979 I (Bill) received "a life changing" letter from Prisoners that simply told me they were praying for my renewal.  That letter led me to participate in a 1989 Kairos Prison Retreat that gave me firsthand experience in the importance of understanding deliverance as "no one on the ecumenical team knew what to do" when we had a need!

In 1991 we Spiritual Warfare Training Conference that gave us the basics & first-hand experience, but without identifying legal rights, we found the results were not as effective as we desired, and knew it could be.

A deliverance class in 2000 by Paul & Claire Hollis from Warfare Plus Academy gave us a practical, biblical, duplicatable, and sustainable deliverance process, that proved to be extremely effective, and changed many lives.

In 2001, we formed Shield of Faith Deliverance Ministry at Faith Outreach Center, that later became Anothen Life Ministries.  We trained a team of 35 prayer warriors to assist with weekend deliverance seminars, and began holding monthly and semi-monthly deliverance seminars for the congregation and community.  We have prayed for over 300 members of the FOC congregation and surrounding community, with excellent success.
Our underlying desire to be experts in whatever we get involved in, and our love of training has led us to many classes to gain an expanded understanding of different processes that could be used in many different opportunities.

In 2004, we joined the International Society of Deliverance Ministers (ISDM), formed by Bill and Doris Wagner (Global Harvest Ministries, Wagner Leadership Training, Wagner Publications, etc.) in Colorado Springs, CO as a means of bringing stability, respect, and accountability to the deliverance ministry.

We have been to many of the ISDM member's classes and seminars including:
    Deliverance Training by Doris Wagner and Chuck Pierce;
    Dissociative Disorder (DID or Multiple Personality) training by Dr.
         Tom Hawkins with Restoration in Christ Ministries;
    Deliverance training by Bill Sudduth with Righteous Acts Ministries;
    Prophecy and Deliverance training by Pat & Vito Rollo with Free
         Indeed Ministries.

We have been to Deliverance and Healing training by other experts including:
    Emerging Leaders in Healing and Deliverance by Francis & Judith
        McNutt, Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, FL.
    John G Lake Healing Training by Jim from the Cleveland Healing House;
    Inner-healing training by Dennis & Rita Bennett.

We have taught and prayed deliverance in programs for other denominations including Charismatic/Pentecostal, Episcopal, Anglican, Baptist, and Messianic Jewish Synagogues.  We also work with Warfare Plus Academy and participate in their various programs, seminars and schools.

We love mission trips and have taught and prayed deliverance in Guyana, Dominican Republic, and Barbados.  We helped train and pray for over 100 pastors and ministers from Dominican Republic and Haiti in 2006.  A 2007 Barbados trip included personal counseling, individually praying for 45 pastors, training 100 pastors and leaders, and praying for over 800 individuals.

While our deliverance process has been very successful, we have always continued to look for additional processes that would integrate additional aspects of healing.

Through a "Devine Appointment" we went to our first RTF training in 2007, and immediately found a tremendous advantage in their "integrated" approach to deliverance and inner-healing, and how it included all the areas that we were searching for.  We both attended their basic courses, and Juliette stayed in North Carolina for a total of 5 months to complete Healing House Qualification, and teaching training.  When Juliette returned to Tampa, Bill began ministering with her, and under the observation of additional trainers, qualified as a Healing House Minister too.  They both were qualified as Healing House Network Trainers in February 2009.

Bill teaches Bachelor's and Master's level classes as alternatives to Christian Counseling to prepare those entering ministry to not only be prepared and be able to fight the enemy, but offer true solutions to those in need.  While not many seminaries teach deliverance and inner-healing, both pastors and missionaries need preparation in these areas for both their congregation lives, and their own lives.

While we have gained a great deal of experience and expertise, we both feel the learning process is probably not over, as we pursue multiple courses and seminars each year to stay tuned to what others are experiencing, and following where the Holy Spirit leads them for the future.  It's truly a ride that only God knows the destination.
